Many local organisations hold activities or events which require the temporary closure of sections of the district roads.  Occasionally construction projects being undertaken in various locations around the Ashburton District also require temporary road closures.

BEACH ROAD EAST

From 4 November 2024, 6.00 am to 13 December 2024, 8.00 pm

Affected Roads:

Closure will be done in two stages, once stage 1 is complete, the closure will shorten to stage 2.

Stage 1 - Beach Road East, between  Trevors Road and Nicholls Road

Stage 2 - Beach Road East, between Trevors Road and Milton Road South

Reason for Closure:

Road rehabilitation
