The Hinds township water supply will be shut down for two hours on Monday 1 August between 9am and 11am while contractors repair a leak at the water treatment plant.
Most households should not experience major inconvenience as the work is expected to be completed within two hours, however residents on the supply may wish to store some drinking water for use during the period that repairs are being carried out.
People in the Hinds area signed up to the Council's free text alert service will be sent a reminder on Sunday afternoon.
Text your postcode to 4196 to receive free text alerts from the Council when important issues arise.
