Ashburton library hosts book launch for local author

Ashburton author Stacey Broadbent will launch her latest book, Cut Loose, at the Ashburton Public Library on Friday 22 July.
The free event starts at 6pm and Stacey will do a reading from the book (described as romantic suspense), talk about the writing process and answer any questions.
The author lives in Ashburton with her husband and three children and writes across a range of genre, from romance, to humour and thriller.
In Cut Loose, the central character Sam Traynor is on the run and winds up in the small town of Brookhaven, where she tries to get on with her live. Jericho Lawson feels the need to protect her, but he also has some demons he wants to leave behind.
Stacey has written over 20 books and appears regularly on Hokonui Breakfast with Hoops as Movie Mum, reviewing films.
The book launch will include free nibbles, so if you want to come on 22 July, please RSVP to library@adc.govt.nz
