Lake Hood River Trail remedied

Bike riders will have an easier time using the recently reopened section of the Lake Hood River Trail, after work was completed last week to remove excess shingle on the track.
The trail between Boundary Road and Grove Farm Road had been reinstated after the completion of the Ashburton River Crossing & Pump Station project, but riders were initially unable to bike through the newly laid shingle very easily.
Seipp Construction, working on behalf of the Council have gone back to fix the issue, leaving the track primed for walks and rides all the way from Lake Hood to the Ashburton bridge.
