From Waka Kotahi NZTA: Have your say on proposed changes to the highway

Published: 17 March 2021

We're hearing that drivers using State Highway 1 (SH1) intersections are worried about crashes and are frustrated with lengthy delays at busy times. Access onto the highway from Lagmhor Road and Graham Street is especially challenging.

We've been working on some plans which are designed to make it easier and safer for locals to get around Tinwald.

We want to make sure we deliver the best solution possible and need your help to do this.

To have your say on the proposed plans visit www.nzta.govt.nz/tinwald. You can make comments on the online map and tell us what you think.

The 'frequently asked questions' page explains some of the queries we think people will have about the proposed changes.

We can receive your feedback through our website via email and we have FreePost paper forms which you can fold and mail to us. Just get in touch if this is your preference.

Please note: feedback closes 5pm, Friday 16 April 2021.

Come along to our Drop-In Session
