People wishing to submit on Plan Change 4 to the operative District Plan have until ​5pm, Friday 4 December to lodge their feedback.​

The Council has prepared the changes which cover a series of amendments. These amendments are designed to reinforce and strengthen the role of the Ashburton town centre, improve clarity and certainty on the range of activities provided for in the Business Zones, and manage the various types of business activities allowed to locate in particular zones.

Plan Change 4 was notified on 4 November 2020.

An online submission form can be returned in written or electronic form to the Council, and ​any person can make a submission in support or against the changes.

Submitters are reminded that they must state whether or not they wish to be heard.
