Moore-Cass Street intersection closing to through-traffic again next week

Stormwater pipe installations will continue on Moore Street in the Ashburton CBD next week (27 July), which will close the Moore/Cass Street intersection to through-traffic for several days.
Tru-Line Civil, as part of the CBD streetscape upgrades have been installing the pipeline down Moore Street towards East Street this week, and will switch directions on Monday (27 July). The pipe will be installed from the intersection approximately 40 metres up Moore Street towards Chalmers Avenue.
The Moore/Cass Street intersection will be closed from 7am, Monday 27 July until 6pm, Wednesday 29 July.
Traffic will still be able to access Moore Street from either Chalmers Avenue (from the east) or East Street (from the west), but will be unable to drive straight through from one end to the other.
Cass Street will remain open at all times, as will William Street.
