Seed Swap!

About the event

Looking to grow your own food this season but not sure where to start?

Wanting to try a new crop in the garden?

Keep Learning Mid Canterbury has teamed up with the Ashburton Community Garden and the Ashburton Library to host a seed swap event to share ideas, inspiration and seeds! Volunteers from the Community Garden will be available to share their knowledge in a relaxed and interactive space – so bring yourself and your questions and come say hi! We’ve got plenty of seeds to share, so if you don’t have any to swap you’re still welcome to take some of ours!

You will find us in the Event Space in Te Kete Tuhinga/ Ashburton Library. Pop in between 3.30 and 4.30pm to get seeds and have a chat - all ages welcome. You might also like to make your own seed envelopes (resources & instruction supplied).

This event is free but please register so we know how many to expect.
