EA Networks Centre and Surrounding Land 30 Year Masterplan

Council adopted the EA Networks Centre and Surrounding Land 30 Year Masterplan on 18 December 2024.

We consulted with the community on the draft plan in March/April 2024, alongside the Draft Long Term Plan. A total of 67 submissions were received and majority were in support of the overall vision. You can see the feedback we received here - https://itsourplace.nz/masterplan

The Masterplan shows what can be achieved on the land we currently own. It aims to ensure staged development of the proposed projects, resulting in a future-proofed, cohesive and well utilised community asset. The plan will also prevent adhoc, unplanned development and help us to maximise the space available.

Due to the nature of the plan and the long timeframe, there is still uncertainty around particular projects and their locations. While the plan includes several unfunded projects, final decisions on these will be made at a future date and subject to further consultation where required.
